Well, I’ll have to watch the archived game, as I missed most of the game. Thoughts on the comments regarding Stanton playing the outfield. That may mean a rotational DH with Sanchez, Judge, or whoever needs a blow, which is how they should have been using it in my opinion. And, it could also mean Frazier may play a bit of centerfield in between Judge and Stanton with Hicks out, Tauchman traded, and Gardy in the worst slump of his career. Frazier and Gardy might platoon given their struggles. The Yankees may try for these lineups:
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 1B 2. Giancarlo Stanton (R) LF 3. Aaron Judge (R) RF 4. Gio Urshela (R) 3B 5. Luke Voit (R) DH 6. Rougned Odor (L) 2B 7. Gleyber Torres (R) SS 8. Kyle Higashioka (R) C 9. Brett Gardner (L) CF
Or
1. DJ LeMahieu (R) 2B 2. Giancarlo Stanton (R) LF 3. Aaron Judge (R) RF 4. Gio Urshela (R) 3B 5. Luke Voit (R) 1B 6. Gary Sanchez (R) DH 7. Gleyber Torres (R) SS 8. Kyle Higashioka (R) C 9. Clint Frazier (R) CF

I don't know, rizz. Stanton requires rest after 4 or 5 days dh'ing. He'll need tobe on oxygen after playing in the outfield.

I don't know, rizz. Stanton requires rest after 4 or 5 days dh'ing. He'll need tobe on oxygen after playing in the outfield. Only in between innings. It should only be problematic in the innings that he has to bat. Even worse if he gets on base. Instead of being day to day, he may be inning to inning. Boone may have to promise not to play him more than 5 consecutive innings...

I don't see how this Hicks injury gets better how does rest heal a tear? The tear will not be repaired without surgery. The possibility is that once the inflammation goes down the pain will will minimize or go away completely. The sheath is there to bundle and protect all of the nerves and major blood vessels. This is same sheath that can at times become too tight, causing carpel tunnel syndrome by compressing those same nerves and blood vessels...

Inger, MD Well, at my age I’m finding that I’ve had some of these illnesses or similar ailments, so I’ve gotten some information by personal experience or osmosis. That sheath is made of cartilage, by the way...
