7. Brett Gardner (L) CF
8. Clint Frazier (R) LF
9. Tyler Wade (L) SS
The assumption is that Urshela can play and Stanton and Torres cannot.

Lopez has been getting chances with MLB teams since 2015. So far they’ve resulted in a 10-20; 5.98 record. He’s 28 years old, so there must be something that makes teams like him. He doesn’t strike many out, allows more than a hit per inning, has average control and is a little bit prone to the long ball. I hope our offense can take advantage of the obvious faults...He pitches to weak contact. I fear we’re a little too good at that...

I haven’t the slightest idea what the Dodgers want with him...I guess he can pinch hit for the pitchers, when appropriate... He's been a bad player for a while. Pinch hitting and maybe some DH starts in road interleague games is all Pujols can hope for since the Dodgers have Max Muncy at first. |
