I got home in time to see the whole enchilada only to find that it’s lying here soaked with rain. I’m taking the day off tomorrow so in my imagination I believe I can watch both games. A lot to catch up on at work and here, so ... I dunno...

A lot to catch up on at work and here, so ... I dunno... I have a job interview tomorrow mid-afternoon. Kind of nervous not having Sarah in my corner for the first time since 1988. I’m hoping to somehow recapture my old mojo. I used to love job interviews, taking it as a challenge and opportunity to focus under pressure...a little like a game-type mindset. |

Then the interviewer looks down and realizes that time has left him nothing but a couple of well-used Titleists snuggled up to a mushroom... Of course the interviewer could be a female, in which case.... let’s not over think this... I sort of think that the desire to NOT go through the whole interview resume thing was part of the reason I’m working as a contractor. I know I didn’t want a boss. I know I didn’t want someone forcing me to work certain hours, etc.. But I also suspect that I hated the idea of an interview. Yet, there was a similar process to impress someone enough to have them be willing to pay me for leads. Life is weird. I’m weirder... Anyway, go get ‘em, Rizz. Sarah is here. She’s even reading this over your shoulder. |
