It's hard to find a good cheesesteak in Chicago, there all over the place back in PA. Pizza mostly sucks out here. When Little Caesars is probably the best in town, you probably have bad pizza. And there are quite a few Italians here, too. Didn’t get the pizza genes, I guess... Chicago does do pizza well, except I'm not a big pizza eater. We need better seafood out here, it's lacking. |

They sent Sanchez on a Florial double. He was out at home by 30 feet. Probably the worst send I've ever seen. What was lost in all that nonsense is how the ball just shot off Florial's bat. The kid has some talent. He’s a strong kid, can run, and has a gun. Two freak injuries, or he may have been up before now. He’s going to strike out at this level at first, but he won’t be short on talent. |

I feel bad for Frazier, it's been such a terrible season for him. He hammers a line drive down the LF line in his first AB and misses a HR by a couple of feet and ends up striking out. Later he game he hits another line drive to left and it's caught, he just can't catch a break.

Well, I missed both games, but I may watch a bit of the second game to see Florial play centerfield. Nice to see the slashing opposite field double by Florial, despite enduring the catcher smoking a cigarette waiting for Sanchez to get within tagging range.  |

Well, I missed both games, but I may watch a bit of the second game to see Florial play centerfield. Nice to see the slashing opposite field double by Florial, despite enduring the catcher smoking a cigarette waiting for Sanchez to get within tagging range. He had one play with a mid-grade challenge on a well struck ball. He tracked it well and made a simple, easy catch of it. No showboating, just a nice smooth play... |

There are a couple Mexican places that get nice, plump shrimp, but most are sort of mid-size. The fish selection isn’t much, either. Cod is common, and that could be getting shipped in frozen from anywhere... |

Thanks for asking, Kaseeb! Actually, as soon as I got home, they called back for a second interview this morning, a one-on-one with the big cheese. They said that the head honcho would be out of the office next week, so they wanted to expedite the process. They apologized for the short notice, but I took that as a positive sign that possibly they didn’t want to continue the search further for the position. Still, I don’t want to take anything for granted or get ahead of myself. I’ll let the pitch travel until I sign a contract. Hopefully, I can keep my hands inside the ball today and shoot a double down the right field line. Thanks to you and everyone for all the support yesterday and well wishes. I definitely needed the positive vibes.  |

Sounds promising Rizz. Best of luck again. I thought of your interview often yesterday hoping for the best. Getting a call back for round two is obviously a positive. Go with the pitch for sure.
