Gary always has to open up the gates in a close game… All of Torres wonderful defense in Phillie and he comes back to earth to Extend the inning. Oh. I know it was a tough play, but that’s when you have to be there… And somehow Gleyber escapes with getting charged with an error and a pitcher's ERA pays the price. . So many times this year… yet he still has a lot of errors… |

I have yet to read any analysis that explains this year to me. Just giving up and injuries seems the most likely explanation

The good news is not spending money on free agents will along with a bad record give us players for the future. A basic problem is that Stanton is going to cost just 30 million a year and has never been worth it even in his prime years. I hope the Yankees finally learn a lesson from that.

So much for the new and improved Yankees. How about changing our philosophy to getting hits rather than home runs, decent speed, sound fundamentals and defense. All the things we never are any good at. |

They haven't really been hitting a lot of home runs either lol But we try to build teams to hit home runs. They never try to build teams, despite their massive resources, for what I suggested.
