I never would have guessed Howard. Can't believe I forgot Bryant's MVP season, I thought the answer was Ernie Banks. I thought maybe Trout. But he was ROY in 2012 and his first MVP was in 2014. Jackie Robinson was another one that had a two year gap between ROY & MVP. Of course, Fred Lynn and Ichiro won both awards in the same year.
