I thought Ruth as well, but he was two shy in Boston. For whatever reason I don't remember many Ruth home run Red Sox highlights so Damon seemed more likely to me. Knew the other had to be Boggs or Stanley cause most other yankee/Red Sox position players weren't on one of the teams long enough like youkilis. Anyone remember George "Boomer" Scott's one HR with the Yankees in 1979? I don't remember the HR but I do have the Topps ball card. |
