All ragging (deserved) aside, that was a nasty splitter by Chapman. He threw a couple in his last appearance, too. But, that pitch works when he can throw his fastball for a strike or two. Three up, three down tonight…but Gardner makes a highlight reel catch at the wall in deep centerfield and two more pitches to the backstop illustrates Chapman still not back yet. Getting better though. |

Nice game by the Yankees. Could this weekend series actually be the start of a second half that sees them play decent baseball? I could be enticed to hope again, with a couple weeks of good play.

A storm knocked out my Internet and TV. Cellular is spotty here. I'll be MIA until tomorrow. If you want to go to the strip club two days in a row, that’s your business. Who are we to judge?  😆 I should have gone to a strip club. They’d have WiFi and maybe the game on. Instead I’m stuck on spotty cellular in my area until the Fios guy comes to repair whatever happened to my TV and internet. Glad to see the team won somehow with the split squad lineup and took the series! LaMarre even hit a HR I saw on the box score! |
