I either switch Stanton or Sanchez with Urshela. At least Urshela might get a hit. Stanton and Sanchez are basically a walk or a K right now…Stanton is a sure K with runners on base…

It’s ridiculous to continue sitting Florial when he was doing something every game to contribute. Infuriating. They’ll wait until he’s out of the groove, then play him when he’ll strikeout three times and send him down, and talk about how close Gardner is to breaking out.

To be fair, I heard that Gardner swung with both hands a couple times in batting practice. One time at band camp…

The last time Florial played, he was 2-3 with a walk and started the Yankees come from behind victory with a double. He hasn’t played since. I’m starting to wonder if it is possible to root for another team after fifty years. This stuff continuing may test that proposition.

Alright who wished that Florial would play tonight on a monkey's paw?

Maybe he injured his wrist writing a get well card to Michael “Falafel” King?

Alright who wished that Florial would play tonight on a monkey's paw? Sometimes playing golf I’d feel confident stepping on the tee box and would announce to the group that I was going to “monkey fist” this drive. Not sure what it meant but it always brought a laugh, especially if I hooked it in the trees.

If you could make it through the 80's and early 90's, you can make it through this. Boone and Cashman may not be around too much longer anyway.

Until today, Florial was back in the minors or on the taxi Squad, he wasn't even on the 26 man roster.
