I fell asleep for a clutch nap, thinking we had definitely lost! Imagine my surprise as I wake up to a win! I'm going to watch the YES encore later! Wow, we just keep winning huh despite whatever adversity keeps befalling us! I like it!
I got home when it was 4-1. I had a morning appointment that made for 2 hours round trip driving alone. I-25 was crazy for traffic. Lots of RVs and commercial stuff out there. So I had to prop my eyes open when Odor hit the crazy homer. By the 7th I was awake… nice game… |

Red Sox lost JD Martinez to COVID and then lost 1-0 to the Blue Jays in the first game of the double header to drop 8 of 9.
There's no one, literally no one I want to come down with COVID (not even Altuve) but I'm happy with the Red Sox skid for sure.

Toronto and Boston play a doubleheader today. If the Yankees hold on here and Boston loses both, all three teams would be even in the loss column. I hope doubleheader is split. I want some separation with the Blue Jays. I’d be happier with a Blue Jays sweep. Bring Boston back to the pack. We can let Boston worry about being passed by us AND the Blue Jays… |
