He's out! But a run scores to make it 2-0. Can we come back again?

The Blue Jays just took a 9-8 lead on a Springer HR. That's Jays lineup is deep and good.

I mean so is this one when the whole team doesn't have COVID and Urshela isn't injured however scoring 9 runs with this lineup is a challenge most of the time... As I typed this Gleyber leaves with thumb problems going for an MRI.

It's same crap almost every game, the pitching gives them a chance to win and offense struggles to score.

We haven't seen this whole new lineup all together yet with Urshela in it at the same time and whatever version of Voit is going to be in there. I think on the paper the lineup is fairly good after getting Gallo and Rizzo, but for whatever reason even in wins they tend to lag around and not score for most of the game either. Lately they have had a lot of wins but I dunno what has to be done to get this lineup scoring more consistently first it was too many righties so they traded for two all star lefties. Then it was covid time off. Now more Covid hit. Now I dunno what the issue is

Boston loss so stay one behind them and tied with jays in loss.

Also they seem to not care about last games in series if they won the series already. The wins keep piling up though lately so hopefully they keep the winning happening.

It also would be nice if they took control over one of these wildcard spots they've been like 2 or less behind in the loss for like a month.

Didn’t realize there was another afternoon game, so I’ll have to watch the archive game later. The one thing Seattle does pretty well is pitch and keep games close, and we lined up against their best starters this series. What Gil did today was amazing, following his first ever start.

What’s possibly even more amazing is that Gil’s pitch count was at 89 after four innings, and Boone let him go out for, and finish the fifth… But now I’m being a spoiler… so no more information from me. You won’t get another word. 😷 … not a peep. Quiet as a mouse 🐭… yessiree…

Oakland won so they take over first wildcard spot. Red Sox fall to second wildcard spot. Yankees are 1 in loss behind Red Sox and 2 in loss behind Oakland.
