He was. I wish I could remember his username now... my memory is so terrible. I feel like his name was something like mm1965 or something. He passed away three years ago, but I loved hearing his stories of all the old school Yankees. He studied the game like it was his job haha! RIP to your grandfather cb! Sounds like a great guy! You hate the Jays? That's funny, I woulda thought you would at least like them a little bit. I used to hate the Jays when Bautista was there. It was fun to hate that guy. Now that they're not much of a threat the hate is much less. Ofcourse, that guy Donaldson is pretty annoying. Only have to worry about Donaldson for this year, if he even lasts the full year. All my buddy's growing up were jays fans, so I got ribbed for liking the team that "bought their championships". In reality I just loved Jeter so I became a fan because I loved watching him. |

Oh I have to add that one of the local sports networks up here is called Sportsnet, and they play Carter's homerun randomly pretty much daily haha!
While I'm thinking of it, does Greatfatness still post here? Always enjoyed reading his posts even though we were on opposite ends of the spectrum in regards to A-rod.

If anyone is wondering the translation (from Italian) is: Giancarlo, you can not stop it! I thought the translation was “I will not buy this hovercraft, it is scratched”. YANKEES WIN.... THE YANKEES WIN!!!! I'm fucking thrilled about Stanton. I was scared he was going to start the season slumping and having to explain that he ain't scared of the NYC lights. I also cannot believe how much power he generates from the swing. It looks so awkward. The results are a beautiful thing though.
