My wife always had the Johnny/June version on her playlist. The Yankees aren't doing enough to keep my interest, so I looked up "Jackson." The Cash version was released in February 1967 and went to number two on the country chart. The Lee/Nancy version was released in July 1967 and went to number 14 on the pop/rock chart. At that point, in the waning days of AM radio music dominance, I would have been much more attuned to the rock version. Remember those late nights driving with miles and miles to go with just an AM radio? Squeezing the dial one way then the other to get the station to come in more clearly. Good times. |

Rizzuto, I had the choice of selecting Derrick Henry or Alvin Kamara in my Fantasy draft and I chose Henry! Hope I didn't make a mistake.

It’s difficult to know what the Saints will do this season, especially without Drew Brees. Kamara will be a centerpiece early with Mike Thomas out from surgery. Henry is a beast, though. No bad choices between them. |
