I joyed that Villar was tied for the NL lead in CS last year despite not even being in the league all season. Now he’s leading the NL again in 2021. Yet, he’s 28/12 for the two seasons. Not great, but not horrid either… (70%)…

Always at my grandmother’s house for lunch on the occasional weekday. Weekends and supper were different - that was real cooking! Was this on the Italian side of your family (or were both sides Italian)? … No never on the Italian side. |

My sister in law has always been a very bland cook. She’s heard criticisms of her cooking before. She decided years ago that the safest thing to serve people was spaghetti. He’d recipe was bland for that, too.
When her son became engaged to an Italian girl that he eventually married, she invited the parents for spaghetti, not even realizing they were Italian. Much to their credit, the Mrs. decided to teach her how to season spaghetti, and to her credit she still serves it, but it’s much more zesty and flavorful now.
I’m guessing someone had a hard time handling that first dinner…

9/11 was tragic, but Bobby Valentine needs to shut up about it. This is a baseball broadcast. 9/11 is the only reason these two teams are playing this late in the season, it's hard not to think about it. |
