I had to look up Ichiro. He was 27 his first season and won GGs in each of his first ten years. Boy was he durable. In his first 12 seasons, the fewest number of games he played was 146. The second fewest was 157. Aaron Hicks, take note. Hire him as the stretching coach! He must know something! |

Nestor doing yeoman's work out there again! Jim Palmer on MASN said Nestor's approach reminded him of Whitey Ford, with the way he changes speeds and keeps hitters off balance. Palmer would only have pitched against Ford the last few years of Whitey's career, but that's serious praise. |
