For some reason, that reminds me of an old joke from The Reconstruction, in which a northern visitor remarks how lovely the moon is tonight, to which the southern matriarch of the house replies, “Oh, you should have seen it before The War.” Or the two drunks looking down over a bridge at the reflection in the water: “Is that the moon down there” “I don’t know, buddy. She doesn’t have the strength in her back legs anymore to lift herself from an awkward position. But, she’s happy. I’m watching her carefully, making sure the life quality remains self evident. |

Seems as though Robbie Ray is finally developing into the pitcher that I had hoped he’d become with the Yankees. I listed for his presence on the Yankee staff for three or four years.
