No, we went to this Korean Restaurant Atoboy instead. This was the menu:
The sea urchin was the best. The lamb was awesome. The wagyu was cooked perfectly. I also enjoyed the cheesecake. We also tried the fried chicken on the side. 9/10. Would recommend!
You are a genuine gourmand. Sea urchin is hard-core. Perfectly done wagyu is as good as it gets. Congrats on your excellent taste. I've never had either...yet. I heard the wagyu is so rich, a full steak is enough for two? I have my doubts.

Its more my best friend and brother whose coattails I ride to some excellent culinary adventures. And I possibly couldn't match all the foods you've eaten on your travels.

My best friend buys these wagyu steaks from Japan. He then sous vides the steak. Better then just about any restaurant! Have you heard of sous vide?

I don't know, in New York you can get just about anything. You and Rizz know more about haute cuisine than I do. But I have been to a Starbucks in Saigon and a McDonald's in Western Samoa.

“Hello Gar-con. I would lack ma steak Sous Vide at 211 degrees for about three days. Do you have A-1 Sauce? If ya’ll do leave the bottle next to my place at the tabble.”…

What was the McDonald's in Western Samoa like? Did they serve different stuff? The main thing I remember about it was that they couldn't serve hamburgers because the beef shipment from New Zealand was delayed. To be honest, I go into McDonald's in different countries not to eat (I'll get a Diet Coke just for taking up their time), but just to see what they serve. In Brazil they serve beans and rice. In India they serve lamb burgers. In Germany they serve beer, and in Russia, where McDonald's is definitely a status symbol, you can get vodka with your Big Mac. It's amazing how successful they are marketing in different countries. And how people, at least untraveled people, in other countries really do think that this is what Americans mostly eat.

They were mentioning on MLBTV that Cody Bellinger has struck out 14 times in 19 ABs. I know it's only Spring Training and it doesn't mean much, but coming off a terrible season last year it might be a bit of a concern. I guess we'll see.

Yes, it's an easier method for getting your steak exactly the way you want it to be. I must admit that I like to cook with a bit of uncertainty. The sous vide steak will be tender, but also a bit grayish in color, which of course the reverse sear hides a bit. Still, I still enjoy the likelihood of getting it wrong.

I know it's only Spring Training and it doesn't mean much, but coming off a terrible season last year it might be a bit of a concern. I guess we'll see. I think it to be a symptom of the new hitting approach in some way. We saw what Gary Sanchez disintegrated into before our eyes. There was the sudden collapse of Chris Davis a few seasons ago. Now we see Bellinger with a similar fall. These collapses used to be uncommon. I remember the collapse and rebound of George Scott in the late sixties. With today’s swing and miss culture it seems that perhaps failure might get into the head a bit. Then, the slightest slip in mechanics and it becomes a “yip”, or a hitch in the swing. With these uppercuts, the timing becomes critical…
