Right now Stanton is hitting so it's a good thing but the trade has been a failure. When we resigned DJL he was a hitting machine and I think most wanted it but injuries and age hit him fast. Rizzo was a 2 year signing and at the time he was Judge's best friend on the tame in his walk year and we needed his leadership but now he turned into a cheerleader. Rodon was a question mark with health and head but one of the best FA options we are stuck with. The Yankees have an IL full of Cashman's trade blunders. Judge and Cole were No Brainers. Soto is a generational talent at 25 so offering him a blank check from the richest franchise in professional sports has to be done. I absolutely hate the way the NFL treats players but sometimes I wish we didn't have these guaranteed contracts in MLB to clean house.

Very strange comments from Boone, this team currently has Mayza and Bickford on the MLB roster.

Very strange comments from Boone, this team currently has Mayza and Bickford on the MLB roster. This is Cashman, who believes in keeping pitching and player “depth” at AAA, irrespective if that pitcher is better than what is being trotted out at the MLB level. This has happened for years now, which is why we always have an Albert Abreu type who is out of options and inexplicably lingers, only to be released after the season for nothing in return. Marinaccio will be a fixture in the bullpen once he is out of options, no matter how successfully he pitches.

Boone was hired and retains his job because he is willing to let Cashman call all the shots.

I have no problem at all with parity...in fact, I believe it's a good thing.
Those of us old enough remember pre-division play, when some (most?) teams were out of contention by June. How is that good...and how boring would it be if the same few teams battled for a WS championship year-after-year? On the other hand, how exciting is it for the fans of a team which hasn't been to the WS in years competes for that championship?
I can vouch that White Sox fans were beyond ecstatic in '05, as were Cubs fans in '16, and as I was in '77 & '96. 2000...meh, not so much.

I do agree in that where there's years of where it looks like if the Yankees play a certain team they can't win are really annoying so it's good not to have that wall this year that they seemed to have since 2018. Yea im just saying since 2018 they just keep running into a team they struggled with all season and there's no team like that this year. Orioles they have like a near .500 record, they've made the gap up mostly on Boston that they got in and Boston is falling bad, kc and Seattle then were fine against, we know the twins are always a good matchup for the Yankees, fine against the guardians, Astros look good but not as good as before where they are unbearable. Every series is winnable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They could just as easily sweep the Orioles after going 1-2 vs the A's followed up being swept by the Pirates.
