aren’t we supposed to be one of the top offenses in the league? This ain’t it
0-10 risp, 0-18 against the bullpen
At least this year’s 0-3 start isn’t against the Orioles
Just checked in. Had to get the receiver replaced but it took 2 hours for the tech to find that it was the problem with the tv connection to satellite not working. Missed the game and seems it’s good I did.

Better early April than late June.  You said it. Just missed the daylight savings time cut off. When I was working in the Middle East we made sure to schedule Ramadan meetings with our Saudi or Kuwaiti or Bahraini counterparts after 10 AM (they would get in late) or by 2 PM (they were starting to get irritable and wouldn't agree to anything.) |

I feel that way about marathon training which I do early in the morning. Sometimes I'm dragging in the late afternoon. I'm fasting for Ramadan so looks like we're all dragging in the late afternoon these days.  Good luck with that! |

Just as an aside: Higashioka is batting .143 after two games, so he is adequately replacing Gary Sandwich offensively.
It's a treat to watch a catcher stealing strikes, quiet behind the plate, and not essentially lying down to effectively stop balls from careering to the backstop.

There's a potential Monty Python sketch in there somewhere. When I was living in the dorm, my friend Reza Hijchak from Iran would often offer me tea. I was never a coffee or tea drinker, but this was the best tea I had or have ever tasted. He brought a big plastic bag of tea leaves from home. It was wonderful. If I could have tea that tastes like that I would probably have a cup daily. |
