Inger will complain it wasn't a strike.  It was a “pitcher’s pitch”… My only objection was that the headline said it was “right down the pipe.” That certainly was untruthful… |

It's fun to follow a guy when he comes up from the big leagues, struggles a little and then realizes he belongs in the big leagues and pitches like it. That's Michael King now, he was so much more confidence now. |

I was wrong about King. I thought he was just another minor league starter the Yankees bring up to be a reliever, but end fucking them up with the Scranton Shuttle. He's a beast.

What has gotten into King?  He has a wipe out curve ball now, thanks to Kluber last season. Now the movement on his fastball looks even later because they have to respect that curve when he can throw it for a strike early in the count and then sweep it late in the count. |
