Torres at 2B today and Judge on the bench. What could go wrong with that combination? Usually, Torres presence portends that he’ll misplay about three times afield, causing an error to each of the other three infielders to be called as they attempt to rush plays on balls Torres has redirected. Innings get extended and the pitchers give up a few extra runs. Maybe Judge can make up the runs as a pinch hitter…
Despite the wins, the pitching has been a little “off” in recent games. I hope we see that come back together. Keeping Torres off the field might help. If they ever make a Gleyber candy bar, I hope it has coconut in it. I don’t care for coconut at all. Don’t like the flavor, don’t like that gritty texture that gets stuck in your teeth and to the inside of my mouth. Maybe some prunes and reconstituted catfish whiskers.
Well. Gleyber homered yesterday. Maybe he’ll get started if he plays today and he can prove me wrong… At least build an offensive slash so we can swap him off for a better player this summer…

Wouldn't it be perfect to have Cone in the booth for the Kansas City games? He still loves the powder blue uniforms, and it's his home town. And, he came up in the Royals' organization.
