They won't listen to real statistics. What are "real" statistics?  What type of statistics do you run. I mostly sit...differential and integral calculus, linear algebra, probability theory, and batting average. I call it Base-perspicacity Rangulmatricei. |

Either I don't know anything about Cricket or you've omitted some words from your first sentence. I'm guessing the former. In cricket, a batsman can be dismissed if in the judgment of the umpire he uses any part of his body to deflect a ball that would otherwise strike the wicket. Usually called olbw. Makes sense. |

Go easy on him. He's having a hard time finding negative things to obsess over. I just don't understand how you get to decide what the base path is for you. If you can decide what your base path is then there is no base path. Technically… The runners are allowed a wide base path coming around third because their momentum carries them past the the painted line. It’s more or less become an unspoken, unwritten rule… In a run down it becomes more of a judgement play for the ump. He had a lot going on. Just accept it and move on, Russ…I don’t know if you noticed or not, but the run counted for our side… 😂 |
