The vainest knife doesn't make sense. No, Pat Boone doing a death song doesn't seem quite right. And I see the song was originally written and recorded by a guy named Chase Webster, but it never charted. BTW, I remember Little Richard being asked if he resented Pat Boone doing a lame cover of "Tutti Frutti." Richard said as long as he got songwriter royalties, he didn't care who covered his songs. |
