I have no idea how he gets it done. I keep looking for his career to just end, with nothing left, but he revives himself, re-invents himself. Struggles, looks wild, then hits a corner with 100 when you least expect it. It still seems that it’s a very uncomfortable at bat, because you, nor Aroldis know where most of his pitches are going. Batters seem more than willing to swing at pitches out of the strike zone against him, and freeze when he throws a strike… Definitely inger. His fastball was only hitting 96 at first but then he ramped one up to 100 before abandoning it all together at the end. Somehow he gets the job done.

First team to 20 wins! Best record in the MLB!
Offense needs to wakeup though.
If the offense doesn’t start hitting soon, Russ will be back! Where was he today? It’s Monday. His family bored games day is over. (see what I did there?? Bored games)…

It's good to hear Paulie again. I'm listening to the replay right now, and it is indeed. It feels like a family affair again.

Sounds pretty cool!
Whats the 0-60 time on that Charger?
With a pro it's been done in 5.6 seconds. With me it will probably be closer to five minutes. With the Tesla Model S Plaid, I believe it is 1.99 seconds. Unbelievable!

We may need a you know what to win today. Don't want to jinx Nestor. Human sacrifice?

DeJesus makes a very demonstrative call to give Cortes K number 9. It was a borderline pitch, but a strike. Very egotistic for the ump to make that demonstrative call and sort of “steal” the moment for himself… That was a Trevino frame job and reaction that fooled the umpire.

For sure, technology has come a long way in 50 years. But aesthetically I'll take the most stylish cars of the 50s and 60s any day. Or a Packard from the 1930s. There is no question that the average car on the street today is infinitely more reliable than the average car from the 70s or earlier. A car breaking down used to be a regular feature of driving. But definitely some heart has been lost.

Chapman throws five pitches out of the strike zone but gets a flyout. Poor situational hitting by the Rangers. It is becoming a lost fundamental of the game. The thinking athlete is rare these days.

Wins have become a meaningless individual stat. Nestor gets 22 outs and gives up 0 runs and gets a no decision. Holmes gets 2 outs and picks up his 4th win of the season, which leads the Yanks, although he's hasn't reached the 15 innings pitched mark. Nestor has one win all season despite a .142 ERA. Montgomery is still looking for his first win of the season, despite a sub 3.00 ERA.

But definitely some heart has been lost. I agree. And, I love the automobiles from the late 1920s and 1930s, especially the Dusenbergs. The worst time for autos in the US had to be the mid to late 1980s. The awful era of the K-cars.

The only series we've lost this year has been to the Baltimore Orioles.
