Donaldson has looked so much better at the plate of late. Didn't he just have a 21 game streak of reaching base?

Well, an abbreviated version. Rain again this weekend. But I did get off one pass (what we Gearheads call the race😁) and avoided anything really embarrassing-- no crash, no chunks of metal left on the track -- and even though I lost to a nasty Plymouth Barracuda, I did crack 100 MPH and had about an average time for a rookie. But the rains came down before I got my next chance (Car 34!!) and they won't run on a wet track. I had a great time and look forward to trying it again. Plus I now have a spiffy Speed Racer helmet. I once got a ticket at 104 in my speed racer days.  No tickets at the dragstrip! Floor it and no looking in the rear view mirror. |

Who was that idiot moderator that wanted Story?
I don't recall you advocating for Story. You were absolutely against North Correa, though. I wanted Olson and Story after Seager was gone. I wasn't strongly for Story but thought we needed a SS and that he'd be cheap. |

Stanton deserved an RBI for hitting a ball that but a decent throw and Rizzo is meat at the plate. Yeah I was cringing when they sent him. Don't know what Stanton was thinking on the bases. |

Doofus base running still cropping up here and there this year… Stanton is not paid to run bases… nor to think… Difficult to completely extirpate in only one off-season. There have been better, but that was terrible. |
