Nettles was robbed of some gold gloves because lazy voters kept giving it to Robinson. That is absolutely true. It became an automatic award for several years past his prime. Plus Clete Boyer could justifiably have been given a few, although I do think they gave him one. |

lol, I thought he meant Garry Maddox. He was pretty good too and won his share if memory serves. Okay, Gary Maddox won 8 GGs, well-deserved. Clete Boyer did win one, but it was with Atlanta when he wasn't nearly as good as he had been with the Yankees. |
