Peralta has not looked the same this season, much like Loaisiga. This would have been a perfect inning for Clarke Schmidt to pitch a clean ninth, alas. Schmidt is going to be really rusty by the time he finally gets to pitch. |

It happens almost every night. I have heard complaints like that of other Yankees managers. Perhaps its institutional not tied to a specific manager.  Or maybe those who pick managers don't think certain line ups should be used too often (which of course is the same thing). Boone has a large lead and is afraid of injuries. I think that makes resting players likely. Particularly against bad teams. |
