I'm stunned they pitched to Judge. Me too. Curious decision.

Intentional walk to Rizzo. Florial just needs a sac fly.

Great, fake baseball time. No more fake than sudden death in football Do they let start your drive in the red zone in the NFL OT?

No more fake than sudden death in football Do they let start your drive in the red zone in the NFL OT? Its an artificial way to end the game quickly either way. In college they did do this btw.

If Hicks had a bigger lead, he would have made it.

If Hicks had a bigger lead, he would have made it. Or if he was still fast. Or if Mateo bobbled the ball or threw a bit higher. Or if the queen had… oh well. On we play…

No, it's regular football with the first team to score a TD or a FG after the first possession wins. It's not even close to the same thing as Manfred's ghost runner nonsense.

It's not even close to the same thing as Manfred's ghost runner nonsense. Both are designed to end the game quickly rather than have it go forever when the game already went regulation. If you don't like the ghost runner, what alternative do you have for extra inning games not to drag on.
