With one third of the season completed, the Yankees are on pace for a 117-45 record. That's pretty good, lol. The pitching has sooooo amazing, makes it so much easier for this inconsistent offense.

Even though the offense seems inconsistent they are 2nd in the AL in runs per game, 1st in the AL in OPS.

Remember when we got him I said that if we could get him to quit swinging down on the ball, he might show some pop? I wonder if that’s what’s been happening lately?…

I wonder if that’s what’s been happening lately?… Trevino has a .289/.337/.482 slash line with a 136 OPS+. You can't ask for much more from a defensive catcher.

Since then: .444 .474 .861 1.335. 16 for 36, 4 HR. Maybe the hitting coaches have found some that clicks with him… What website do you use to set beginning and endpoints for stats. For example you gave a stat line since May 15th. Inger may not be such a Luddite after all.

Trevino has also put the ball in play in some big spots. He's a ball player, in much the same way IKF is a ball player, as well as Rizzo, who again steals a base at a crucial time. They've got baseball chops. Something Sanchez, Voit, and Hicks do not have.
