Less pain each day, but still tired most of the time. I don't know if if I told you guys, but the surgery was done robotically and have 5 incisions on my left side, so it's tough to move. Been sleeping in a recliner because I have a hard time getting out of bed. Still waiting biopsy results. Thanks for asking, pipps. We're thinking of you Matt. Thanks for hanging with us. Sounds like a rough procedure, buddy. But you’ve proven to be tough as nails… Still thinking of you and wishing you the absolute best… |

Sarah and my sister had to sleep in a recliner following their surgeries, too. Lying flat may take a couple weeks. |

I'm not sure about Babe because Gehrig hit behind him, so more opportunities since Babe hit like .342. What about my father's favorite player, Jimmy Foxx? Your father too? My father idolized him and actually played catch with him and ran minor errands for him. Yes, my dad was a Cardinals' fan, as was my grandfather, but when I asked my father who was the best player in MLB when he was a kid, and he didn't hesitate: Jimmy Foxx, even though Foxx and The Babe overlapped a bit. My father certainly would have known Babe Ruth in 1935 when he was ten years old. |
