Shockingly the Yankees beat out the likes of the Cowboys, Patriots and Lakers. I thought the Cubs fans were supposed to hate the Cardinals. People just say the Yankees reflexively because sports media gins up Yankee hate and the sheep dutifully comply. |

Stanton would have to play in the field to really make it work. Hicks can ride the bench. Does Carpenter have the wheels or any experience playing centerfield? At this stage of his career, Carpenter's best position is DH. |

Amazing that we held in the top of the 7th. I though the Cubbies were coming to get us!… Yankees have weathered a storm seemingly every inning today. All those Yankee runs early took the fight out of the Cubbies and allowed Taillon to relax and challenge batters in crucial spots. |

Kay mentioned earlier today that between inter-league play and two World Series, the Yankees are 22-4 against the Cubs. Soon to be 23-4. People who couldn't name five professional sports franchises will claim to hate the Yankees. Idiots. |
