Has anyone really thought about the term "shitstorm" or "where the shit hit the fan"? Today, I came home to Gretagirl having had an unfortunate - what seems to be - series of stomach troubles. I put her doggie diaper on before I left for work, and it was on the bed having been filled and abandoned. I am now washing the comforter for the first go round - it may take two or three washes, and I have gotten on my hands and knees scrubbing my favorite area rugs with disinfectant wipes and a bevy of cleaning products. I am about to go to Walmart to purchase a rug/carpet cleaner. Not what I wanted to spend my money on, but it may be the tool I need to fight the after affects of the super storm - one of those 100 year shit storms. I can tell she feels bad, she keeps following me around with her head down. She will need a bath tonight as well. Ugh, not what you want to do after work when the Yankees are playing. These puppies we have now hit me with one about 6 months ago. It was all over the living room rug. It was near bedtime. Ruthie suggested we roll the rug up and clean it later. I said no way, just make the mess worse. I ran out to get a Bissell rug shampooer and cleaner and worked on cleanup for about 2 hours. The Bissell is a pretty sweet machine, and I’ve used it since for routine cleaning… 14
