I looked him up. He won seven-- 1920-25 and 1928. That's it then! Wow, six straight batting titles. Amazing. Joe Morgan was always a Rogers Hornsby fan. Joe might have recognized in Hornsby a fellow dour personality who was obsessively focused on his craft. I was thinking that Hornsby was in some ways baseball's version of Ben Hogan -- single-minded, gruff, brilliant at his calling, not particularly well-liked by his colleagues. Then I discovered that both Hornsby and Hogan were brought up in Ft. Worth. Is there something in the water there? Of course Byron Nelson was also from Ft. Worth, and he was golf's version of Mariano Rivera. Hornsby is buried in Hornsby Bend, Texas.

That Inger montage is side-splitting Kaybli. What kind of band is he fronting? Inger looks like he's ready to break into "La Cucaracha," but the band looks like a 50s Vegas lounge act.

Thanks, Kaybli. Those are some great memories from through the years. I got a couple nice Yankee54-type chortles remembering the good times…
You only have a few to go, my friend. I’m pretty sure you’ll be the first to 40K and beyond…

That might have been the quickest challenge of the season.

My own artistic (or is that autistic?) version of “Dick in a Sombrero (Sweaty Balls in the Footlights”. It gave the idea of “Dick in a Box” to Drew Carey, I believe…

That might have been the quickest challenge of the season. It was stupid. The ump was looking directly at it and you could see the jersey move.
