Mary Brown's Chicken? What is that? I was wondering the same thing. Apparently a Canadian fast food thing. Yes, it's Canada's version of KFC. Not as ubiquitous (or as good as) Tim Horton's. I only visited one, about eight years ago, in Halifax. The only thing I remember was that their signature sandwich is called a Big Mary. Don't make the trip north just for that. |

Thanks for the executive summary Rizz. We were out with some friends and I didn't want to be checking my phone all night. I sure didn't expect to come home to a blowout (so far.) Did you have a gin and tonic? Hah, no G&T tonight. We were with some wine drinkers who actually wanted details on our visit to Burgundy and Bordeaux. So we were sampling some St. Emillion and Vosne-Romanée and Chablis with a bunch of cheese plates and assorted jambons. I pretended to know what I was talking about, but I think they saw through it. At any rate my wife did. |
