I'm working on my second G&T of the afternoon, but would you believe it had me believing that Aaron Hicks hit a bases-loaded double to drive in three runs? I need to lay off that stuff. Pipps, have you tried any of the Fever-Tree tonic flavors or 6 o'clock brand? I like Fever-Tree rizz. Good stuff.

What kind of gin to you drink pipps? I was always a Bombay Sapphire man until I tried a local brand called Barr Hill that's made with the help of bees. caledoniaspirits.com/spirit/gin/I'm a Bombay Sapphire man, myself, and I am not into forced labor, but I'll have to give it a try.

I realize I am very set in my ways and happy to be so, but to my plebian palate Schweppes is far superior to any of them. I have experimented with gins over the decades, but I always come back to the same tonic.

Unbelievable, Kay just stated that was the first bases loaded hit for Hicks since 2017.

Nice little lollipop curve for strike two there for Taillon! And, he strikes out the side with a double intermixed!

Bombay Sapphire is always a solid choice and there is always a beautiful blue bottle in my liquor cabinet. I have been having a torrid affair with Plymouth Navy Strength over the past 8-10 years, but I am open to many varieties. I can drink Tanqueray 10 with great pleasure, and Hendricks is always in good taste. There are so many excellent boutique gins these days. My maternal Grandfather, who is my role model for cocktails because he studied the subject assiduously from the 1920s until his death in the 1960s, would not have believed the choices we have today. In his time, Gordon's was the best you could do. As it was for Ian Fleming, an exemplary drinker. I occasionally have Gordon's in his honor, but we have so many better options now.

Just saw an article that mentioned Fever Tree and 6 o'Clock and wanted a trusted opinion.

Leadoff double for Gleyber after some bobbling against the wall shenanigans by Tapia. Gallo moves him to third.
