Well then Alou and Boone are right, but the other is Bell (Gus, Buddy and David.) I didn't know Gus Bell! My friend Joe would have. Great call, Pipps! Unfortunately I am old enough to have seen the foundation stud in each case. Gus Bell was a very good OFer for the Reds, playing with Frank Robinson and Vada Pinson. Buddy, who you probably remember, was an outstanding third baseman. Ray Boone was also a topnotch player, mostly with Detroit and Cleveland. The Boone clan strongly resemble each other. Baseball royalty, as much as we disparage Bob. Felipe Alou was also a fine player. As were his brothers Matty and Jesus. The Yastrzemskis are unusual in skipping a generation between Carl and his grandson. I don't think there have been many of those.

Trivia answer:
The Boones, Bells, Hairston's and Coleman's. I never would have got those last two.

I remember Buddy Bell very well, mostly because several people thought I set up like him at the plate and in the field because I was his size at 15 years old. Actually, I always felt more like Munson at the plate, and I was trying not to screw up in the field and just get the out.

Get some of those yellow glasses for night time. They help a ton… Can you wear them with contacts? They’re usually oversized, I wear them over my glasses. I would expect you could. I think you’ll like them. You don’t have to spend a lot to try them, get the tactical glasses from the “As seen on TV” section in Wal-Mart. I think mine were $12.95…

Fortunately I don't drive at night that often.

Poor Castillo, living his dream right now but he gives up HR's to the first two hitters he faces.
