Okay, well, I've got the home game showing from Tampa Bay, thanks to Kay and his website. Is there a reason this is blacked out by MLB.TV? It’s on Extra Innings here… I can't stay up that long. |

Choi with a push bunt against the shift.  Certainly, if Choi can do it, so can everyone else. The false pride in these players today. Get on base and the shift will go away naturally. |

Yep, O'Neill doesn't buy it. He thinks it's ego, as I believed it was with Teixeira. Hitting to the opposite field is easier than pulling the ball. It is maddening to me. My father-in-law will intentionally take less club on the golf course because he doesn't want to admit that he can no longer hit the ball as far as he used to when he was younger. He also refuses to wear glasses, putting the paper on the table and then backing away from it. His arms aren't long enough to hold the paper at a distance at which he can read. He just turned 82. Just stubbornness. |
