OK, that's the time Michael Kay has referred to the additional of Albert Abreu has "help for the bullpen". If the guy is inferior to every current Yankee reliever, how is he helping the pen?

I'd take almost anything. A used radar gun, a bag of balls.... Coming into tonight's game, Gallo has played 115 games for the Yankees. He is batting .170 with an OBP of .297 and an OPS+ of 92. He has hit 22 HRs and has 164 strikeouts to go with 63 walks. Those numbers are well below his numbers with Texas. It's just not working out. |
