I had blocked his terrible Yankee tenure from my memory. Jaime Garcia had a brief forgettable stint with the Yankees in 2017. Big Mike Garcia was a very tough hurler for Cleveland in the 1950s. Don't know if anyone else here remembers him. I never saw him pitch, but do know he was a part of that great 1954 Indians staff, along with Wynn, Lemon, Feller and a guy named Houtteman. They got swept by the Giants in the WS. |
