Story was awful early on. That's why I was surprised. Boston has 16 games remaining with both the Yanks and Rays. They are only 8-16 in the division. Story had an awful April, good May, not so good June. Somehow he has a lot of RBIs. One reason is Boston has had three players hitting around .330 all year long, getting on base at a good clip: JD Martinez, Devers, and number two, what's his name. |

I cannot believe how quickly this game has gone by. Was on the telephone with a co-worker. Sixth inning after an hour?

Ellsbury wore number 2 for Boston before Bogaerts. Others include Carl Everett, Otis Nixon, Jerry Remy and Doug Griffin. Plus the euphoniously-named Catfish Metkovich. |

By the way, for those of you outside of Texas, HEB is not a racial or ethnic slur, it is a very fine grocery store, named after Howard E. Butt.
