I checked out early too, mainly because I was tired but also because I can't stand that national broadcasts. Even Cone can't save it. Cone was overshadowed by all the interviews and ancillary things for sure. Who believes there needs to be an interview during the game and literally while on the field of play? |

Verdugo seemed not to mind turning his back on the action almost as the pitch was being delivered. |

Hopefully one day someone (not a Yankee) screws up a play while being distracted by the interview. It has to happen. It's bad enough doing it with guys in the dugout. They have to be on some kind of delay. It seems like it would be very easy for some non family-friendly verbiage to slip out. |
