Hmm. Could be. Bob was a very good defensive catcher for a long time, but Ray was versatile and a dependable hitter. They all look alike. The Boone's have proven that Darwin was wrong. But, the Alou's were the better baseball family evolution-wise with Moises the best hitter. Yes he was, although his father and uncles were all good hitters. Henry Adams writing in the 1870s said he could prove Darwin's theory of evolution wrong just by tracing the line of Presidents from Washington to Grant. Good line, although I came to understand that with his many glaring flaws, Ulysses S. Grant was a good and courageous man.

I thought Gallo was supposed to be a good fielder. He was also supposed to hit a lot of home runs.

Gore appropriated that joke, mentioning Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison to Lincoln but finished with the Nixon, Carter, Reagan, and Bush.

I thought the Reds were a bad team. They're about .500 after that horrific start. Maybe a bit better or a bit worse.
