Well, that caps off a splendid day... I'm much more pissed off at what happened to you than the Yankees loss. Can't believe insurance won't cover it. Bunch of idiots.

Boone proves once again he's not a good manager. Using Loaisiga in that situation was stupid and pulling Abreu after throwing only 20 pitches was equally inept.

This one was tough. We had people here cleaning and packing, so only saw parts of it, but…
Nervous this morning. Going on a house hunt. Half a day and half a tank of gas to be consumed, but to what end? And my idiot home builder, after I let him go told me that I owe him $1,000 for his time and drawings. I told him we had no contract and if he dared to send me a bill I’d blast on every social media platform I could find every chance I got for the rest of my life. Heh-heh. He said he wouldn’t bill me. Piss down my neck and tell me it’s raining, will ya’?

They haven't played too well the last 9 games but are somehow 4-5 and not 1-8 or something. Agree though I feel some Boone decisions led to prob 4 of those losses. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The choice to through Loasiga into the fire last night seemed foolhardy. I guess the options were limited, but I still didn’t like it…

Well, that caps off a splendid day... I'm much more pissed off at what happened to you than the Yankees loss. Can't believe insurance won't cover it. Bunch of idiots. Your support is heartwarming, my friend. Insurance will cover the repair minus my deductible - 1000 bucks; however, they won't cover the cost of the rental car unless it was an accident that caused the damage, which is inane. I've already moved on emotionally from this one. My neighbor gave me a ride to pick up a rental car this morning. She's a beautiful girl, who just celebrated her one-year wedding anniversary. She reminds me so much of Sarah, such a beautiful spirit, loves animals, and has a goofiness to her with an easy smile and laugh. For a few minutes this morning, I was reminded of how special my relationship was with Sarah, and this girl could have been the daughter we never had. Alas, she and her husband are moving to Houston in September. They shall be missed. Not many choices for rentals. First, I was assigned a Jeep Wrangler that was very cool looking; however, the seat did not go back far enough or down low enough to comfortably contain my freight and height. I ended up with a Hyundai Elantra, which though Spartan in fit and finish was nonetheless serviceable in comfort, air conditioning, and handling. That shall be my transportation for the next week, unless the new gas tank does not arrive, which will entail further emptying of my coin purse to Enterprise. Admittedly, I had an Inger-moment at the rental place, as the rack and wheels of the attendant were seemingly impossible not to admire. Biology and the evolutionary imperative are difficult to ignore gracefully.

I’ll check the early part of the game thread when we get home from house shopping… Doesn’t sound like you’re having fun…

I was. No, some guy drilled a hole in my gas tank in attempt to steal fuel. Evidently, I interrupted him at the beginning of his thievery. On the way back home, a driver on my passenger side motioned that something was wrong with my SUV. I pulled of the side of the road, thinking it was a low tire, when I saw the gasoline pouring out the bottom of my vehicle. I had to call a tow truck, get it taken to a shop, and it should only cost me about 4,000 beans, with the cost of a rental car, if they can fix it in a week. If they cannot get another gas tank in that time (dicey at this point), then, the cost for the rental will run the price up further. By the way, if I had gotten into a wreck, my insurance would have paid for the rental car. What the hell does it matter what the reason is for you automobile being disabled? . Did you check with homeowners or rental insurance (if you have)? … bass turds. That crap has been happening ing around here, too.
