If the season were to end today, Gallo would own the worst single season AVG for qualified batters of all time by 4 points beating out Chris Davis. You never want to see your name in the same sentence with Chris Davis. Unless the prefix anti- is included. |

Jackie Bradley, Jr. is a throw back player whose defense has always outpaced his meager offense. Yet, battling his usual flirtation with the Mendoza line, Bradley is hitting .40 points higher than Gallo. This is unthinkable to me.
