As a fan I am happy they are playing Thursday, but pretty shitty they have a DH on the Thursday of All-star week. The all-stars basically got no break, the non-AS got Monday and Tuesday. I believe in the new CBA teams are not playing on Thursday of ASB anymore, but due to the season starting late things got pushed back and games had to be crammed in.

Peaked a quick look at the game from the stream when carpenter was up with bases loaded and no outs. Got to stop this rispfail against the astros. 😡

In this case, he did not look the ball though the infield before moving. The rule from Little League is "Freeze on a line drive." Judge should have made it back to first if he follows the fundamentals. We would have scored a run on the outfield fly ball for the third out. |

Amazing that Javier can be knocked out of the game after 3 and 2/3rds by the Angels and give up 5 runs in 5 innings to the Royals (his last two starts), but he's Bob Gibson against us.
