RBI for IKF! Something they did not do yesterday, hitting with RISP.

“The worst defensive shortstop in MLB history”… Bull snot I say to that. Bull snot… I think it's best to ignore anyone that says that about Jeter. It's just a waste of time. It’s hard to ignore when the talk is fueled by defensive metrics. The real discussion should be asking what is wrong with those metrics, and how can they be adjusted to make them more reliable. I know. It’s a longer discussion that we can or should have during a game. I’d like to know certain things about those metrics, like are they adjusted for whether the player is on a team with a lot of strikeout pitchers? Or Flyball pitchers/ground ball pitchers? Handedness of the opposing batters, which could be profoundly affected by the stadium a player plays in or the handedness of his pitching staff? A game of inches and increments for certain. Opportunities vary…

Nice to tack on a few, tough not sending IKF on Trevino's double w/ Gallo on deck.
How's everybody handling this heat?? It has been brutal for us in westchester, wife 8 months pregnant and ready to pop.

It has been brutal for us in westchester, wife 8 months pregnant and ready to pop. Our house is for sale right now. We’re moving to reduce our footprint, our bills, and to get away from the heat more than any other reasons…

Six shutout inning from Nestor. Exactly what this team needed. He continues to amaze. Watch Boone pull him now because of what happened with Cole yesterday. Completely different situations, completely different pitching styles…

I've been staying inside marveling at the most incredible invention in the history of human kind: refrigeration/air-conditioning. Nothing like it.

Carpenter just gets under one, or it would have been another dinger.
