9:31pm: Infielder Edwin Arroyo and pitchers Andrew Moore and Levi Stoudt are also headed to Cincinnati, Divish reports (on Twitter). 9:26pm: Seattle is likely to send four prospects back to Cincinnati, including top shortstop prospect Noelvi Marte, reports Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times (on Twitter). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Marte is MLB.coms 18th rated top prospect. Hard to beat that package without Volpe. Seattle has the longest playoff drought in the MLB, looks like they're going all out to end it.

Cincy finally did alright for themselves. Seattle went big in free agency and had to justify that spending and get in the post season.

Which it should be when dealing prospects for an established star. That’s why Cashman never makes these deals…

That’s why Cashman never makes these deals… And then the Yankees rarely give the position player prospects a chance in the major leagues. What's the point keeping all of them?

That’s why Cashman never makes these deals… And then the Yankees rarely give the position player prospects a chance in the major leagues. What's the point keeping all of them? That’s the insanity of it all. But they will single out players and put them into deals, like when they traded Bye Bye Balboni, Jay Buh-Nah, Justiss Sheffield, etc.. I think Cashman really believes we’re going to utilize those players to save money and dominate. Somehow a trade always becomes available or a dumpster dive looks tasty…

It got lost in all of Judge's heroics last night but Albert Abreu got the win against the team that DFA'd him earlier this season. Abreu has made 13 appearances with the Yankees and has given up 2 runs. Kansas City relievers gave up 8 runs last night but they didn't have room on their roster for Abreu.

No one cares about a relievers win-loss record.

How do you give up on that arm?
