Did your mom make it safely to Bangladesh? She should land in Dubai soon. Then connecting to Dhaka from there. Its like a 17 hour flight! Thanks for asking.

Too bad Ty France is on the IL. It would have been nice to see another German-France clash.
Those historically have not turned out well for France.

Right now I'd be happy to get him through three. Difficult to comprehend how Jim Palmer never gave up a grand slam. That's incredible mental discipline to never give in to a batter with the bases loaded. Palmer allowed a grand slam to Johnny Bench while on a rehab assignment in MiLB in 1967. He also, by the way, never allowed back to back home runs. There was an amusing story I read about a potential MLB grand slam that one of Palmer’s outfielders reached up and pulled back in the park. If memory serves me correctly, it was Al Bumbry, and Bumbry continued to remind Palmer about it for a long time… Palmer was apparently quite amused by the story and took the ribbing quite well. So we could say that Al Bumbry never allowed Jim Palmer to allow a MLB grand slam. Palmer also indicated that he believes a reason for his success in bases loaded situations was that he never was afraid to allow a bases loaded walk…
