Carpenter doesn't get to hit with the bases loaded because Boone took him out of the game. It was the right call. Donaldson with the bonehead mistake and hitting the catcher with the backswing on Lo's steal of second. |

Carpenter doesn't get to hit with the bases loaded because Boone took him out of the game. Gleyber has not been seeing the ball lately, so this was not a great match up. Sure would have been nice to have the lefty Carpenter against the righty Munoz. I really hate that Locastro is on the team, because Ba-Boone cannot help himself and has use him in the seventh inning. |

In his last 55 innings pitched, Jameson Taillon has given up 35 earned runs. Essentially, he has not been the same since his flirtation with a no-hitter.

This game was very similar to the royals game on Sunday just kept giving up runs
