I wish Bader could play right now, it would mean less of Hicks and Locastro. Shhh. Inger may hear you.

Monty having a typical start. Not much run support, but looking to get through six innings allowing 3 or fewer runs, which would be the 18th time in 22 games.

Gleyber is helpless right now at the plate. Yep. Totally lost. That's why he's batting cleanup. Aaron Boone - The Mad Pseudoscientist.

Can we have one of those patented Monty blow up innings right about now?
As he looks to be cramping up.

It's hard to find definitive information on the longest Yankee hitless streak. Derek Jeter, Jimmy Wynn and Yogi Berra all had 0-32 streaks.
Babe Ruth's longest was 0-21, Lou Gehrig's 0-20.
Mike Trout had an 0-24 earlier this year. The longest hitless streaks of Ted Williams and Ty Cobb were 0-17. Tony Gwynn's was 0-19.
Robin Ventura had an 0-41 as a rookie. Luis Aparicio had an 0-44.

If anyone has pulled a calf muscle, it is painful and can take a long time to heal to where you will not continue to pull it each time right after rest.

I thought Hicks just ended his streak, but no.

At least Hicks kind of hit it hard that time. Same result, though.
